Our services

In addition to concrete tank construction, A-1 Tanks and Services offers tank cleaning and tank repair services for all types of tanks: concrete, fibreglass, polymer, galvanized, corrugated iron, tin, brick, etc.

Our tank cleaning and repair services are available for domestic, commercial and industrial applications in Brisbane, on the Sunshine Coast and elsewhere in Queensland.

We also have experience in applying our tank techniques for cleaning and repair of reservoirs.

Animal droppings, vegetation and other foreign matter can form a decaying layer of sludge at the bottom of your rain water tank. This can produce bacteria which is harmful to your health.

  • We can clean and vacuum sediment from the floor of water tanks with only minor water loss.
  • Tanks can be emptied and scrubbed, if required.
  • Full tank sterilisation to the AS3500 standard is available, if required.
  • Replacement fittings, filters and tanks can be supplied, on request.

Tank repairs

Concrete tanks can be effectively repaired in several ways. A-1 Tanks & Services specialises in determining and implementing the most effective method. For example, an internal flexible lining sprayed onto the walls and floor of a tank generally has a 10 year warranty.

Tin tank

A-1 Tanks & Services can line tin tanks with high density mortar or flexible lining, or a combination of both.
Minor repairs can be done without the need to empty the tank.

A-1 Tanks & Services can perform minor repairs effectively from the outside without the need to empty the tank thereby saving you money and time.
